  • Job description
    • Gating and assembly method finalization thru simulation software.
    • Contraction review and study & finalize the tooling model.
    • Conducting feasibility meeting for the new parts and incorporating the points discussed in the meeting in the process & methoding design.
    • Item code & Bill of material creation for the new parts to be developed.
    • Construction of 3D models with the 2D drawing in case customer has not supplied the models
    • Initiating the trial cards for the new parts and also for improvement trials along with necessary process parameters
    • Follow-up of the new parts under development in terms of quality at each stage and taking necessary corrective action to improve casting quality and if required modifying the method and conducting further trials.
    • Initiating necessary work flows for material procurement/HRT related whenever necessary
    • Attending daily EGT review meetings and completing the assigned tasks.
    • Review Customer Tooling PO and Part PO
    • Review Customer Drawing and CAD Data
    • Check Associated Standards and Documents (Customer Specific or Generic)
    • Conduct Feasibility Study and Initiate Feasibility Meeting
    • Fill out New Product Development Checklist during Feasiblity Meeting
    • Update and Record Feasibility Meeting MOM
    • Attending the all customer technical meetings
    • Obtain Approval from Engineering Manager and JMD for Gating and Methoding Designs
    • Estimation of Contraction Factors, Spreadsheet Creation and 3D Model Inspection Plan
    • Root cause analyse and action plan updation for the rejections
    • Release of 3D model to Internal or External Tool Maker
    • Attend the internal & external audits
    • Attend the shop floor review meetings and take actions of all quality and production issues.
    • PPAP documents review and submit to customer
    • Prepare the project handover files and handover the projects to production

    • Samples proving as "First time right"
    • Samples submission to customer on time
    • Root cause and corrective action update on time.
    • Review and release the shop floor documents on time

    • Immediate action taken and close for all customer complaints
